Volunteer for the Guild

The Coastal Arts Guild of CT needs your help.

The Guild is an all-volunteer organization. It cannot run without the support of its members.

A small number have been doing all the work that it takes to manage the Guild and provide these programs. Because of attrition from the board, we no longer have the critical mass of people to run the programs we want to put forward.

Board service limits and exhaustion are taking its toll. It is absolutely necessary to have new people come aboard to bring ideas and share the work, in order to continue these programs. If YOU can give a few hours a week, it can make a huge difference.

We have many exciting things in the hopper, including working on getting a PLACE in Stratford to gather. We have been given use of the Firehouse Gallery in Milford. These locations will need staffing when it they are open, during shows, meetings, etc.

Without your help, the Guild may have to suspend all programs and shut down. It’s this serious.

There are many ways other ways you can help; many right from your desk or kitchen table at home.
